finally warming up

well, useing the expression pretty loosely I guess. it got up to -27 for about an hour today but other than that it's been -38 to minus -44. We had a wind chill of -51 the other morning. So pretty much hibernating til the alcohol rises in the little glass tube(mercury freezes at -39c)
Anyhoo, got to go plug in the truck. I have to drive to Wrigley tomorrow, woo hoo! just a day trip, maybe I'll shoot some chickens on the way. Shoot a chicken and it's frozen before it hits the ground!

I guess things are quiet when you are hibernating.

LOL - shoot a chicken and it's frozen before it hits the ground! God, I don't think I could stand all that cold!!! Though I do tease Gary and tell him we should sell the business and go back up North for a few years - there are always ads in the paper for Artic Co-op. Gary says I wouldn't survive it. I shiver watching Ice Pilots NWT - one of our fav shows!
