'nother small one, but after waiting for about a million years for miranda to take the picture, it was getting heavy.
I love this picture. this was on a camping trip down the Mackenzie River about 50 Km. It was July 22/06

My wife miranda/melinda..ha ha! with a jackfish(northern pike) I will explain about her name some other time...til then it's a mystery.

you probably won't see many winter pics on here, we don't do much in the winter time. I put our pics from last summer up, remembering fondly, looking forward to this summer. We might travel down to N.S. this summer but even if we don't there's still FISHING!!!! to look forward to. This is me in a tipi where my wife's mother is drying and smoking fish the traditional way. I don't care for fish this way...but it sure smells good!

Buffalo on the side of the road between Fort Providence and Yellowknife. They can be pretty dangerous and are quite aggressive. They will stand in the middle of the road and not move...til they are good n' ready!

You can't see it, but he's got lunch in his talons.

This is rabbit skin river

The river is calm and the weather is beautiful

On our way to Rabbit Skin for a day of fishing.

She loves her cheeto, the dog not the chip!

some pics from 06

Yeeeah boooy! This is how we spend the summer up here...size DOES matter and mine's bigger!

Rebecca, age 13. Typical teen on the couch, the only reason she's looking at the camera is because I was standing in front of the TV!

I'm only pretending to be nervous, she's a pretty good skipper for a three year old...and dad has a foot strategically placed for safety!
